Ash Wednesday is just over two weeks away and it is time to think seriously about what you will do to refocus your faith during the season of Lent.
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, this year it begins on Valentine’s day and Easter Sunday is on April Fool’s day. Our theme on Godspace will be For Love of the World God Did Something Foolish. What are the “foolish things” you might consider doing during Lent to get ready for Easter and beyond?
Do something foolish. Join us February 10th, for a morning of spiritual input, reflection and creativity. Establish new practices for the journey towards Easter and beyond. Establish new practices to guide you through 2018. Lent is a time to prepare not just for the celebration of Easter but for the new life of God’s kingdom. How will you get ready? It’s not about what you give up. It’s about what you take on. What practices will you take on for Lent? What path will you follow?

P.S. if you would be interested in experimenting with an online retreat later in Lent let me know. This would be a conversation over Zoom (similar to Skype) with handouts and meditative exercises to do on your own.
