Tom and I are getting ready to head to Australia tomorrow. Our dog sitter, an old friend from Milwaukee, commented this morning that it was awfully dark compared to where he had come from. Thinking about that as I prayed through the morning scripture readings and watched the dawn slowly break inspired this prayer

Thanks so much for the prayers Christine. Safe travel to Australia. I’m in Melbourne and we have had a 40 deg day. More hot weather for the rest of the week , so hope it’s not too hot when you arrive. blessings.
Beth we are sitting here at the airport looking at the weather forecast – certainly hot down where you are. I always think such madness to hold the Australian Open in this heat. I will love the heat but Tom is not so keen on it. Unfortunately we will not make it to Melbourne this trip
