In the next few weeks we expect to move this blog to a new site. Maybe it won’t look quite like this but we are moving. Definitely time to get rid of those ads I have no control over and to expand our capacity to add video, apps and who knows what else.
The name of the blog remains the same – unless you think it should change and have a creative idea for a new name, but we do need to choose a new url. Not surprising godspace.net; .com ; .us and all other possibilities are all taken – in some cases not being used but grabbed by someone who hopes we will come and buy it from them. Anyhow that is another issue. So what should our new url be?
We have thought of:
godspace-light.com (or net or who knows what)
godspace-MSA.com to link it to our existing MSA site of which this is a part.
Do you have other suggestions? And do you think the name of the site should change? If so let us know your suggestions.

Hi Christine…just so we can find you!
I do find that urls with hyphens are sometimes confusing for people when sharing it with them. The more simple and memorable the better. Maybe even ChristineSine.com?
Blessings!
Jeff
Thanks Jeff – not comfortable with ChristineSine.com but will consider that thought – I know what you mean about the -sometimes being confusing
Christine:
I like Godspace-MSA. I think the link would be really good. And I really support moving to someplace without the ads and weird videos that show up at the end of the blog. I always end up looking twice to make sure they aren’t from you. Blessings. Hope you are doing well. We are very busy heading into the fall. And our youngest Steven was married on August 17. It was the most perfect day possible, I got to do the ceremony and it is at a beautiful community center in Mukilteo.
God bless,
Coe
Thanks Coe. I think that is what I would recommend too. I hate those ads but it has taken us a while to get things together enough to make this move. Trying to work out what we want Godspace to become before we move. It has grown far beyond what I ever expected and I do not want to lose what we already have.
Or you could stay at WordPress w/ a paid account. Of course if you’ve found an add-free free venue, so much the better.
Mike even with a paid account I will need to change the url if I stay with WordPress.
What ever you decide as long as we can still find you!! You are such a blessing.
Thanks katie – will make sure everyone knows and Wordpress assures us that people will be redirected
You could always base it off of the MSA website and then you don’t even have to buy another URL, such as godspace.msainfo.us or msainfo.us/godspace. I see a lot of people doing that lately and it seems to work well.
We have considered that possibility too. The challenge is how to do that without the clientele Godspace already has which is considerably more than MSA website has.
Hi Christine – I love the name Godspace, and linking it to msa makes good sense. Being able to do without the unrelated ads and adding video etc. all sound like great changes. When I re-did my blog/website, I went from two side-bars to just one which seemed less cluttered and made it easier for people to find things too. All the best as you discern this decision.
Thanks April – we have talked about the one sidebar for the future too. With the new site their should be more flexibility for what and how I post as well as for how we let people know about events and publications. Also hope in the future to add online retreats and daily prayer downloads. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I love the name Godspace…. I’m so new to this that the rest doesnt not make much difference to me…. I have no idea what msa is. I think having godspace and then something as you have to in the url is a good idea, then anyone who has connected before will be able to find you. I agree that hyphens can make it overly complex. Thank you again for all you do – many of us are blessed by what you blog, lou
Thanks Lou for your helpful input. We will probably go with godspace.msa.com which is easier than hyphens for most people. MSA is Mustard Seed Associates which is the organization of which this is a part.
ps your links down the sides are extremely helpful too 🙂
That is good to know – these links need updating and the move should make that easier.
