Rodney is a teacher and Chaplain at Great Southern Grammar, an independent Christian School, on the beautiful South Coast of Western Australia. He has been an ordained minister in the Uniting Church in Australia for 40 years in Western Australia. Rodney trained at Moore College, Sydney and the Perth Theological Hall and was a Parish Minister of the Word for 20 years. Depression forced him into temporary retirement after which he retrained as a teacher. He was employed as a Science teacher at Great Southern Grammar in 2002 and became the part time (now full time) Chaplain in 2004.
Rodney enjoys swimming, gardening and has an interest in Philosophy, Biblical Studies, the local Noongar people and meditation. After he retires, he hopes to start a community outreach Koort Katjinn (Noongar for ‘heart listening’ or listening to the land).
