Rebecca Joy Sumner is a pastor, liturgist, and activist. Her greatest role is as wife to Luke (who is also a pastor, social worker, and activist) and mom to Liv and Lysa. Liv in particular is a brilliant kiddo, with significant disabilities, who teaches and re-teaches Rebecca the world, utterly and delightfully transforming Rebecca’s presence in it. So much of Rebecca’s work as a minister is really just cheating off of Liv’s work as a spiritual being, so giving all due credit, and citing her most essential source! Rebecca is the lead pastor at Welcome Table Christian Church in Seattle, WA.
